WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT

While we cannot speak to your policy, the general process for filing a claim is described below.

Hurricane Damage

Assess The Damage

Inspect and photograph any visible damage to your home, making detailed notes.

Stamping a Document

Claim Approval

Review the adjuster’s report and ensure the repair estimate aligns with the necessary work. Your contractor will assist in negotiations if needed.

Insurance Agent

Contact You Insurer

Report the damage to your insurance company as soon as possible. You may consider having an experienced contractor inspect your property first.

Electric Cables

Repair Work

Once the claim is approved, your contractor will begin the repair process, keeping you informed throughout.

Expressway Inspection

Inspection & Estimate

Your insurance company will send an adjuster to assess the damage. At the same time, hire a reliable contractor (like Twin Pine Contracting) to provide a repair estimate.

Passing Credit Card

Final Inspection & Payment

After the repairs are complete, conduct a final walkthrough with your contractor. Submit the final documentation to your insurer to receive payment and close out the claim.
